At the Dubai Airshow 2025, we unveiled a project that marked one of the most meaningful milestones in our recent work: the new livery of Fursan al Emarat, the national aerobatic team of the United Arab Emirates.

Designed by Mirco Pecorari, our founder and creative director, the livery reflected the approach that defines AircraftStudioDesign — where technical precision, aesthetic clarity, and symbolic depth come together to form an identity rather than merely a visual treatment.

Over the years, our studio has contributed to projects for air forces, OEMs, VIP aviation, and special one-off commissions. From commemorative schemes for the Italian Air Force and the Frecce Tricolori to collaborations with Pilatus, Dassault, Embraer, Bombardier, Boeing Business Jet, and Leonardo, our work has helped shape a visual language recognized across the aviation world. Several of our aircraft have been displayed in international museums, including the Science Museum in London and the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, underscoring a design philosophy rooted in both discipline and artistic vision.

For Fursan al Emarat, we sought to create a design capable of expressing the team’s dual essence: tradition and modernity. Fluid lines, reflective contrasts, and balanced proportions were crafted to enhance the perception of motion in flight, resulting in a visual identity that spoke of pride, elegance, and national symbolism.

As Mirco explained during the unveiling:

“Designing this livery was an honor. My goal was to capture the essence of the Emirates — its energy, ambition, and unity. The seven interlaced lines represented the union of the seven Emirates; the golden accents recalled the color of the desert; the black base subtly alluded to the nation’s oil resource. Every detail was designed to strike a balance between power and grace, between heritage and future.”

Through AircraftStudioDesign, founded in Modena and active worldwide, we continue to explore how flight can become a form of visual art. The new Fursan al Emarat livery embodied this pursuit: it was more than a design project — it became a dialogue between culture, technology, and artistic expression.

We are proud to have presented a work that celebrates the spirit of the Emirates and adds a new chapter to the continuing story of aviation design.
